Mrs. Beulah Smith

  Services for Mrs. Beulah Smith, 65, of Haughton, were held at 4
p.m., Monday, April 17, at Boone Funeral Home Chapel. Interment
followed in Centuries Memorial Cemetery.

  Mrs. Smith died Saturday, April 15, at a Shreveport Hospital,
after a short illness. A native of Woodsworth, La., she was
retired. She enjoyed traveling, visiting grandchildren,
crocheting, and helping others.

  She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Esther
Hopkins; and one sister, Rhea McDonald.

  She is survived by two daughters, Mary Patton, and Janelle Ross,
both of Many; four sons, Bob Hudnall of Shreveport, Jack Smith of
Leesville, James Hopkins of Winnfield, Randy Thomas of Bossier
City; one sister, Mrs. Beverly Carter of Koran; eight
grandchildren; four nephews; a host of relatives and friends.
