Ruth Kilgore Smith

  Services for Mrs. Ruth Kilgore Smith, 65, were held at 10 a.m.,
Friday, June 8, at the Rockett Nettles Funeral Home Chapel.
Officiating was Brother Billy Burkett, assisted by Brother Billy
Davis. Burial followed in the Springville Cemetery in Coushatta.

  Mrs. Smith passed away Monday, June 4, at the Methodist Hospital
in Houston, Texas, following a lengthy illness. She was a
homemaker, and a member of Hanna Baptist Church.

  Survivors include three sons, Robert Wayne Smith, Stanley Smith,
and C. H. Smith Jr., all of Coushatta; three brothers, Charles B.
Kilgore Jr., and Louis Kilgore, both of Marthaville, and Joe Lee
Kilgore of Houston, Texas; three sisters, Lucille Seigal of
Conroe, Texas, Louvenia McDonald, and Delma Jean Trevino, both of
Houston, Tex., and nine grandchildren.
