Calvin Dean Smith

  Mr. Calvin Dean Smith, 56, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 14, at LSU
Medical Center, Shreveport, La.

  Services were held at 2 p.m., at Oak Hill Baptist Church, with
interment at Oak Hill Cemetery, on Wednesday, Jan. 15. Rev. E. E.
Walker officiated.

  Mr. Smith is survived by 4 sisters, Patsy Claire Merrill of
Shreveport, La., Janice Kay Dowdy, Suzanne Ford of Many, La.,
Johnnie Faye Chism of Shreveport, La.; 2 brothers, Lloyd Eugene
Johnson, and Jerry Kenneth Johnson of Many, La.; and a host of
nieces and nephews.
