Burial was at the Florien Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many. Mrs. Sneed passed away Thursday, March 12, at 12 a.m., at the Sabine Medical Center in Many. Mrs. Sneed was born to Franklin Plummer Landrum, and Mary Frances Self Landrum, December 27, 1906, in Many. She was a resident of Fisher for over 40 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Holman Sneed Sr.; and a granddaughter, Darlene Sue Harris. Survivors include two sons, Arthur O'Sell Sneed and his wife Peggy of Many; three daughters, Hester Orene Harris and her husband Clifford Harris of Lake Charles, Francis Loree Jackson and her husband W. E. Jackson of El Dorado, Ark., and Quinda Sue Sandel and her husband Dewayne Sandel of Florien; six grandsons, Charles Clifford Harris, Arthur O'Sell Sneed Jr., Jerry Wayne Sneed, Terry Dewayne Sneed, David Lynn Sneed, Phillip Holman Sneed; one granddaughter, Katherine Renee Sneed; sixteen great grandchildren, Brian, Jaimee, and Joshua Harris, Tammy, Jonathan, Patrick, Christopher, Leslie, Wendy, Jessica, Jeremy, Phillip Jr., Joshua, Kevin, Jacob, Aaron, and Rebeckah Sneed. Pallbearers were Charles Clifford Harris, Arthur O'Sell Sneed Jr., Jerry Wayne Sneed, Phillip Holman Sneed, Brian Lamar Harris, and Dewayne Ferman Harris. Honorary pallbearers were William Gene Landrum, Harold Lucius Landrum, Fred Wagley, Thomas Phillips, Michael Elliott, and Freddie Bennett. Conducting services were Bishop Stanley Hayes, Michael Slay, and Glen Hardy. Prayers were by Bishop Stanley Hayes, Albert Hardy, and Fred Wagley. Special music was provided by Susan Slay, and the L.D.S. Choir, also James (Sap) Anders, accompanied by Renee Sneed. Mrs. Sneed will be remembered for her kind heart, sweet smile, always helping others, and her love for children, friends, and family.
