Barbara W. Smith

  Funeral services for Barbara W. Smith, were held at 2 p.m.,
Friday, July 31, 1992, at the Union Baptist Church in Florien,
with the Rev. Rusty Silvertooth officiating. Burial followed in
the church cemetery, under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home
of Leesville.

  Mrs. Smith, 42, of Many, passed away July 29, 1992, in the LSU
Medical Center in Shreveport.

  She is survived by her husband, William Smith Sr.; one son,
William Smith Jr.; one daughter, Dawne Annette Smith, all of
Many; mother, Ann Brown; one brother, Ronald Brown Jr., both of
Norfolk, Va.; and two grandchildren, Victoria Dawn Harris, and
Barbara Denis Harris.
