Mrs. Cora Bell Smith

  Mrs. Cora Bell Smith, 92, passed away at Sabine Medical Center,
Many, La., Sunday, Jan. 9.

  Surviving relatives are four daughters, Opal Geneva Smith of
Many, La., Theo Peterson of DeRidder, La., Sibyl Hardin of
Baytown, Texas, Joyce Landrum of Monroe, La.; two sons, Elton Roy
Smith Sr. of Florien, La., Nolan Clayton Smith of Shreveport,
La.; four sisters, Iberia Mothershed, Melva Curry, Bessie Weldon,
all of Florien, La., Pearlie Dupree of Mansfield, La.; one
brother, Rev. Louis Skinner of Hagewood, La.; twenty
grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren; eight great-great
grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews, and loving friends.

  Interment was in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery, with the Rev. Ron
Berry, and Dr. Ralph E. West officiating.
