Mrs. Amanda Smith

  Mrs. Amanda Smith, 87, of Many, died at a local hospital, April
24, after a brief illness.

  Funeral services were held at the Many First Baptist Church,
April 26, with the Rev. Perry Lassiter officiating. Burial was in
the Many Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral
Home of Many.

  Pallbearers were George Sirmon, Hoy Lee, Warren Cutrer, Melvin
Wright, Earl Meharg, and Sam Hayes.

  Surviving relatives include one son, Burt Smith of Many; one
daughter, Mrs. Mildred Manarolis of San Francisco, Calif.; and
five grandchildren.
