Mrs. Bonnie Smith

  Mrs. Bonnie Smith, 67, of Florien, died Friday, May 31, after an
extended illness.

  Survivors include her husband, Cecil Smith of Florien; three
sons, Gerald Smith of Houston, Wendell Smith of Dallas, and Carl
Smith of Hammond, La.; one daughter, Mrs. Sybil Doris Edwards of
Houston; and 7 grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held Sunday, June 2, in the Florien
Baptist Church, with the Rev. Avon Cavanaugh officiating.

  Interment was in the Sibley Cemetery, under the direction of
Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Pallbearers were R. C. McKinney, Roy Slater, John L. Wright, L.
B. Thomas, William Cars, and Med C. Walker.
