Robert Smith

  Pfc. Robert Smith, 21, was killed in combat in Vietnam on April
3.

  Funeral services were held Saturday, April 13, at 2 p.m., at the
Union Springs Baptist Church, with the Rev. Pierce, and Rev.
Tibbetts officiating. Burial was in the Union Springs Cemetery.

  Survivors are his mother, Mrs. Rosa Lea Smith of Converse; two
brothers, William D. Smith, and Jerry Lynn McDonald of Converse.

  There were military graveside services, under the direction of
Drewett Funeral Home of Mansfield.
