Funeral services were conducted at the Friendship Nazarene Church, Saturday, April 22, with the Rev. Clarence Patton, and the Rev. Ludon Hutto officiating. Interment was in the Ft. Jesup Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Joe Smith of Robeline; one brother, Tom Smith of Robeline; three sisters, Mrs. Walter Ragan of Phoenix, Ariz.; Mrs. Maude Blythe of Port Arthur, Tex., and Mrs. A. B. Tramel of Many. Pallbearers were O. E. Varnado, Clayton Faust, David Bray, A. L. Tarver, Younger Stewart, and Ralph Callens. Those from out of town, attending the funeral, included Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Hughes and sons, Danny of Texarkana, and Jerry, who is attending college at Nacogdoches, Mr. and Mrs. George Foote, and daughters Cindy, and Judy, and friend, Miss Debbie Walker, all of ? .
