Oscar A. Smith

  Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m., Jan. 18, for Oscar A.
Smith, 75.

  The services were held in the Warren Meadows Funeral Home
Chapel, with the Rev. Willie Prothro, and Rev. Cecil Salley
officiating.

  Burial was in Springridge Cemetery, with Warren Meadows Funeral
Home in charge.

  Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Arthur Greer of Pleasant
Hill, Mrs. Marie Reid of Leesville, Mrs. Lorine Alexander of
Kansas City, Mo., Mrs. Minnie Rains of Many; two sisters, Mrs.
Emma Bennett of Arlington, Va., Mrs. Anna Lee Clinton of Sulphur
Springs, Texas; 15 grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were J. B. Flores, Floyd Terrell, Sgt. Milton Nix,
Jesse Barton, Artice Touchton, Johnny Combs.
