Mrs. Robert L. Smith

  An automobile accident near Robeline, about 7 p.m., Sunday,
claimed the life of Robert L. Smith, 56, of Zwolle, and caused
the death on Tuesday of Mrs. Smith, also of Zwolle, and George
Townsend, 19, of Marthaville, in a Natchitoches hospital.

  Four other persons were injured in the head-on crash, and were
admitted to the parish hospital for treatment.

  Double funeral services were conducted on Tuesday, in the Zwolle
First Baptist Church, for Mr. and Mrs. Smith.

  Mr. Smith was pine chipping clerk for Hunt Lumber Company for a
number of years.
