Smith, 56, and wife Mrs. Viola Smith, 45, who were fatally injured in a car accident near Robeline, May 3. The services were held at the Zwolle First Baptist Church, with Dr. R. P. Butler officiating. Burial was in Zwolle Cemetery, with Warren Meadows Funeral Home in charge. Mrs. Smith is survived by one daughter, Mrs. W. T. Bass of Lufkin, Texas; five brothers, Joe, and Wilbert Ferguson, both of Converse, John, and Herman Ferguson of Zwolle, and Elders Ferguson of Mansfield; two sisters, Mrs. John Leone of Zwolle, and Mrs. Jimmie Rivers of Shreveport; one grandchild. Pallbearers were Ray Martinez, David Ebarb, Eugene Garcie, Earl Ferguson, Curtis Ferguson, and Stanley Arcenaux. Mr. Smith is survived by one daughter, Mrs. W. T. Bass of Lufkin; one brother, Douglas Smith of Houston; and one grandchild. Pallbearers were L. G. Myers, Nathan Brandon, Quinton Davis, Andy McAlpin, Quinton Brandon, William Sepulvado.
