David H. Sandifer

  Funeral services for David H. Sandifer, 90, of Pleasant Hill
was held Monday, Sep. 4, at the Old Pisgah Baptist Church near
Marthaville, at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Tim Walsh officiating.
Burial was in the Old Pisgah Cemetery, under the direction of
Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mr. Sandifer died Sept. 2, in Shreveport, after an extended
illness.

  Surviving relatives are three sons, J. B. Sandifer, Clyde
Sandifer, and Izic Sandifer, all of Shreveport; five daughters,
Mrs. Lula Mae Barrett, Mrs. Pearl Brown, Mrs. Macie Litton, Mrs.
Lestereen Hinton, and Mrs. Evelyn Burnley, all of Shreveport;
one brother, Henry Sandifer of Shreveport; three sisters, Mrs.
Mary Lou Downs, Mansfield, Mrs. Lillie Herrington of Shreveport,
and Mrs. Nancy Scott of Natchitoches; 33 grandchildren, 50
great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were Danny Litton, David Brown, Huey Wyatt, Billy
Sandifer, Richard Sandifer, and Glenn Sandifer.
