Sandifer, 79, of Shreveport, died at 6 a.m., Tuesday, in Willis-Knighton Hospital, after a long illness. Born in Marthaville, Sandifer lived in Shreveport 31 years, and was a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church. The funeral was at 11 a.m., Thursday, in Central Baptist Church near Robeline. The Rev. Mike Alexander, pastor of Woodlawn Baptist Churcn, and the Rev. Wilmer Birdwell officiated. Burial was in Central Cemetery. Sandifer is survived by his widow, Mrs. Beatrice W. Sandifer of Shreveport; three daughters, Mrs. Thelma Edwards, and Mrs. Ruby Neal, both of Shreveport, and Mrs. Daisy Wilson of Dallas, Tex.; seven grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Mr. Sandifer's gransons, James E. Neal, Ronnie Neal, A. C. Wilson III, Robert Edwards, Edward McClain, and Anthony Liberto.
