Sandifer, 69, were held at 10 a.m., Friday, February 14, 1992, at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel. Officiating will be Reverend Jerry Hilbun, pastor of Asbury United Methodist Church. Burial was in Forest Park Cemetery. Visitation was from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, at the funeral home. Mr. Sandifer died Wednesday, February 12, 1992, in Shreveport, after a short illness. He was born in Pleasant Hill, La., and had been a resident of Shreveport for 22 years. Mr. Sandifer was a Baptist, and a retired welder from Frymaster. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ada Bell Sandifer. Survivors include three sons, Joe E. Sandifer of Shreveport, Gary W. Sandifer of Frierson, Richard I. Sandifer of Bossier City; one daughter, Diane Brann of Shreveport; adopted children, Billy W. Lewis of Shreveport, Debbie K. Bynog of Converse, Brenda S. Blankenship, and Harold G. Lewis of Shreveport; 26 grandchildren. Pallbearers were Johnny Blankenship, Dale Barry, Bobby Ettredge, Bobby Lewis, Chris Todd, and Buck Todd.
