Pete L. Santos

  Funeral services for Pete L. Santos were held at 1 p.m.,
Thursday, October 25, in the St. Michael's Catholic Church in
Leesville, with the Father Russell Lemoine officiating. Burial
followed in the Good Hope Cemetery in Anacoco, under the
direction of Hixson Funeral Home in Leesville.

  Mr. Santos, 61, of Anacoco passed away Tuesday, in the Byrd
Memorial Hospital in Leesville. He was born in Noble, and was a
retired logger.

  Santos is survived by his wife, Willie Mae Santos of Anacoco;
four sons, Benny Santos, Harold L. Santos, and Douglas Santos,
all of Anacoco, and James W. Santos of Texas City, Texas; one
daughter, Nancy Haymon of Leesville; two brothers, Dennis Santos,
and Wilson Santos, both of Converse; five sisters, Nettie
Mayfield of Mansfield, Ruth Boyett of Logansport, Mary Ann
Procell of Pleasant Hill, Elaine Welch of Marthaville, and
Dorothy Erwin of Converse; and 11 grandchildren.
