The Sabine Index - October 5, 1988

  Mr. Fred Santos

  Mr. Fred Santos, native of Sabine Parish, died on September 22,
1988, suddenly due to health problems. He was 76 years of age.

  He resided in Shreveport for the last 20 years. He was born in
Converse, La.

  Mr. Santos is survived by his wife, Mary Santos, daughters, Jean
Roberts of Beaumont, Tx.; Betty Howard of Bay St. Louis, Miss.,
Bonnie Anders of Natchitoches and sons, Fred Santos Jr. of
Shreveport and Frank Santos of Stanley, La. He had nine
grandchildren and one great grandchild. His interment was St.
Ann's Cemetery in Stonewall, La.
