Philip Santos

  Philip Santos, 68, of Kountze, Tex., died Oct. 6, in Kountze,
after a lengthy illness.

  Funeral services were conducted Oct. 9, at St. Joseph Catholic
Church, with the Very Rev. Msgr. Robert C. Friend officiating.
Burial was in St. Joseph Cemetery, under the direction of Warren
Meadows Funeral Home of Many.

  Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Christine Santos of Kountze;
two sons, Buford Santos of Houston, Tex., and Bobby Santos of
Mont Belview, Tex.; a daughter, Mrs. Shirley Taylor of Daisetta,
Tex.; one brother, Walter Santos of Village Mills, Tex.; four
sisters, Mrs. Salina Paddie of Noble, Mrs. Hattie Paddie of
Ringgold, Mrs. Bessie Paddie of Silsbee, Tex., and Mrs. Edna
Martinez of Willis, Tex.

  Pallbearers were Rheet Paddie, Nathan Ezernack, Tom Sepulvado,
Steve Ebarb, Joe B. Leone, and J. Y. Loneorin.
