The Sabine Index - John W. Sandel

  11 Feb 1944 - Funeral rites for John W. Sandel, age 40 years,
were held at Prospect at 3 p.m. last Saturday. Rev. E. H. House
and Rev. H. E. Chane officiated.

  Surviving are: wife, Mrs. Lillian Sandel of Gandy; two children,
Billie Jean and Madeline; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. James F.
Sandel of Gandy; one brother, L. L. Sandel, and one sister, Mrs.
Laness Powell of Gandy.

  Mr. Sandel passed away at a New Orleans hospital after a long
illness.
