Mrs. Jessie P. Sandel

  Mrs. Jessie Pruitt Sandel, 80, of Florien, died in Shreveport
Wednesday, March 7, at 6 p.m., after an extended illness.

  Funeral services were held in the Prospect Methodist Church on
Friday, March 9, at 2 p.m., with Samuel Pruitt, and Clarence
Chism officiating.

  Survivors include her five daughters, Mrs. Katherine Self, and
Mrs. Mary Anderson, both of Florien, Dr. Addie Baxter of
Shreveport, Mrs. Jessie V. Grimes of Pasadena, Tex., and Mrs.
Sammie Morales of New Orleans; and 16 grandchildren; and 12 great
grandchildren.
