Marvin Sandel, Jr.

  Mr. Marvin Sandel, Jr., 83, of Florien, died at 3:45 p.m.,
Saturday, December 3, 1983, at the Sabine Medical Center in Many.

  Funeral services for Mr. Sandel were held Monday, December 5, at
2 p.m., at the Prospect Methodist Church, with the Rev. John
Koelemay officiating. Interment followed in the Prospect
Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of the Warren
Meadows Funeral Home.

  He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Zelma Sandel of Florien; one
son, C. M. (Mark) Sandel, Westlake; three daughters, Carolyn
Knippers, Many, Colothilde Hebert, and Jo Ella Williams, both of
Florien; one brother, J. Y. Sandel, Florien; one sister, Joy
Miller, Florien; six grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
