Clara Alice (Tommie) Sandel

  Funeral services for Clara Alice (Tommie) Sandel, 100, were held
Thursday, January 17, at 2 p.m., in Prospect Methodist Church.
Interment followed in Prospect Cemetery, under the direction of
Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Reverends Skinner, Koelemay, Rusty
Silvertooth, and Buddy Freeman officiated.

  Mrs. Sandel passed away January 15, at Sabine Medical Center in
Many.

  She is survived by one son, Luther Sandel of Florien; four
daughters, Annie Laurie Pennington of Florien, Emma Marie Savell,
also of Florien, Vivian Tynes of Lumberton, Texas, and Ewell Ava
Hendrickson of Belmont; one brother, Alcide Thompson of Metairie;
twenty grandchildren; thirty nine great grandchildren; eight
great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

  Pallbearers were Mrs. Sandel's grandsons.
