Mrs. Pearl Grace Sandel

  Pearl Grace Sandel, 88, of Many, died Monday, April 9, 2001, at
Southland Health Care.

  Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Thursday, April 12, at
Warren Meadows Funeral Home Chapel, with interment following at
Toro Cemetery in Florien. The Rev. Rodney Pitts officiated.

  Survivors include two daughters, Shilda Ammons of Robeline, and
Shirley Sandel of Newton, Texas; three sons, Robert Sandel of
DeRidder, Kenneth Sandel of Lufkin, Texas, and Grover Sandel of
Haughton; four sisters, Lois Samaiguel, and Beatrice Chance, both
of Many, Elaine Masters of Cowen, Tenn., and Maxine Chance of
Sarepta; one brother, William Ance Ellzey of Florien; 14
grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; three great-great
grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

  Mrs. Sandel was preceded in death by her husband, Rollie Sandel;
one daughter, Louree Ammons; one grandson, David Eugene Ammons.

  Pallbearers were Gary Ammons, Glen Ammons, Wayne Ammons, Toya
Luce, Dave Ohlrich, Kelly Sandel, Kenny Sandel, and Patrick
Strickland.
