Vonciel Geoghagan Sandel

  Funeral services for Mrs. Vonciel Geoghagan Sandel, 92, were
held at 11 a.m., Monday, March 25, at Florien First Baptist
Church. Rev. Mack Brister officiated over the service. Interment
followed in the Florien Cemetery, under the direction of Warren
Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mrs. Sandel died Saturday, March 23, at Sabine Medical Center in
Many.

  She is survived by four daughters, Iva Lea Arthur of Florien,
Geraldine Williams of Bossier City, Chloe Oliver of Vidor, Tex.,
and Evonne Gandy of Many; six sisters, Charlotte Davis of Many,
Thelma Wooley of Mesquite, Tex., Syble Lilley of Natchitoches,
Murriel Wooley of Many, Nelwyn Miller of Florien, and Gail Moore
of Hornbeck; one brother, Autry Lee Lawson of Palmer, Tex.;
eleven grandchildren; and twenty seven great grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were Charles Arthur, Robert Arthur, Gerald Chance,
Phillip Arthur, Bobby Joe Chance, Gil Arthur, Bruce Gandy, Dick
Gandy, and Randall Oliver.
