Mr. Jessie Thane Sandel

  Mr. Jessie Thane Sandel, 52, of Florien, died at Christus
Schumpert in Shreveport, on Sunday, June 10.

  Funeral services will be held at the Prospect Methodist Church
in Florien, on Wednesday, June 13, at 2 p.m. The Rev. John
Koelemay, the Rev. John Lawler, and the Rev. Jerry Ford will
officiate. Burial will be in the Prospect Cemetery, under the
direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mr. Sandel was born June 4, 1949, in Sabine Parish. He was a
truck driver.

  Survivors include his wife, Sarah Sandel of Florien; his mother,
Rosa B. Sandel of Florien; two daughters, Jessie M. Mitchell and
husband Darrell, and Jodi L. Sandel, all of Florien; one sister,
Diane Breckenridge of Anderson, Mo.; two brothers, David Sandel
of Houston, and Dan Sandel Sr. of Florien; a grandson, Darrell
Mitchell Jr. of Florien; and a host of nieces, nephews, and
friends.
