Paul Waymon Swindle, Sr.

  Funeral services for Paul Waymon Swindle, Sr., 57, were held at
2 p.m., Sunday, April 5, at Antioch Baptist Church.

  The Rev. Jimmie Evans, and Rev Melvin Smith officiated. Burial
was in Antioch Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows
Funeral Home.

  Mr. Swindle died Friday, April 3, at the V. A. Medical Center in
Shreveport.

  He was preceded in death by a brother, Wilburn (Bo) Swindle.

  Pallbearers were Rocky Alford, Randy Alford, Tim Parker, Danny
Sparks, John Dailey, and David (Chuck) Withers.

  Survivors are one son, Paul Waymon Swindle Jr. of Mesquite,
Tex.; two daughters, Geri Lynn Alford, and Candi Marie
Funderburk, both of Florien; his parents, Leo and Lurlie Swindle
of Red Bay, Alabama; two sisters, Dorothy Johnston of Corinth,
Miss., and Ruth Clark of Hemet Calif.; five brothers, John (J.
L.) Swindle of Corinth, Miss., Ottis Swindle, Roy Swindle, and
Bobby Swindle, all three of Denham Springs, and Donald Swindle of
Houston, Tex.; six grandchildren; and a host of nieces and
nephews.
