Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 16, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel, with interment following at 3 p.m., at Prewitt Chapel Cemetery in Hornbeck. The Rev. Michael Booze officiated. Mr. Sandell was the owner of Brite Way Carpet Cleaning Service for 30 years. Survivors include his widow, Wanda Sandell of Minden; three daughters, Rhonda Carson and husband Martin of El Dorado, Ark., Marilyn Arnold and husband Peter of Ft. Worth, Texas, and Janet Fletcher and husband Allen of Minden; four sisters, Floy Jordan, and Lela Evans of Toro, Una Savell of Port Neches, Texas, and Veral Hutchison of New Waverly, Texas; six brothers, Floyce, and Chris Sandell of Toro, Troy Sandell of Hornbeck, Huey Sandell of Beaumont, Texas, Loye Sandell of Converse, and Talmadge Sandell of Houston, Texas; and six grandchildren, Keith, Jeremy, and Jody Carson, Emily, and Barrett Arnold, and Madison Fletcher. Pallbearers were Mark Foster, David Torrance, Allen Fletcher, Martin Carson, Peter Arnold, Bill Jones, Hampton Graham, and Dan Kellogg.
