She was 78, a native of Zwolle, and a resident of Baton Rouge. Visiting was at Hollabaugh-Spindle Wooddale Memorial Chapel from 5 to 10 p.m., Tuesday, and after 8 a.m., Wednesday. Religious services were at 3 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 3, at the Funeral home, conducted by the Rev. Jimmy Barousse. Interment was in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. She was survived by two daughters, Mrs. Ann Strickland, Baton Rouge, and Mrs. Louis (Pat) Blanchard, St. Amant; five sons, Fred Sanders, Otis M. Sanders, Sr., Billy, and Bobby Sanders, all of Baton Rouge, and Larry Sanders Baker; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Leone, Zwolle, and Mrs. Lucille Horbarts, Shreveport; a brother, J. T. Meshell, Zwolle; 13 grandchildren; six great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Sanders; parents, Felles and Annie Procell Meshell. Pallbearers were Mike Sanders, Bill Sanders, and Otis Sanders, Jr., Danny Dew, David Brumfield, Jeff Alexander, and Perry Martin. She was a member of Airline Christian Assembly, Ladies Christian Auxiliary, and Louisiana Band of Choctaw Indians.
