Lillian Litton Sanders

  Graveside services for Mrs. Lillian Litton Sanders, 80, of
Shreveport, were held at 4 p.m., Wednesday, May 18, at
Springridge Cemetery in Pleasant Hill.

  She died Monday, May 16, 1983, at Schumpert Medical Center,
after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Sanders, born in Pleasant Hill, and
a lifelong resident of Shreveport, was a homemaker, and attended
Life Tabernacle.

  She is survived by one son, Osee B. Herring, and one daughter,
Mrs. Louise Dancey of Shreveport; five grandchildren; and eight
great grandchildren; two brothers, G. C. Litton of Pine Bluff,
Ark., and Orville Litton of Robeline, La.; one sister, Lola
Martin of Shreveport; a number of nieces and nephews.
