Gladys Sanders

  Funeral services for Gladys Sanders, 71, were held at 2 p.m.,
Thursday, October 3, at Pendleton Assembly of God. Rev. Max Magoo
officiated. Interment followed at Fisher Cemetery, under the
direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Ms. Sanders died Tuesday, October 1, at Heritage Manor #2
Nursing Home in Many.

  She is survived by three sons, Douglas Lewing of Ozona, Tex.,
Wayne Sanders, and Rodney Sanders, both of Many; four daughters,
Shirley Rodrigues of Many, Ruth Lester of Mt. Carmel, Myra Bass
of Many, and Faye Merritt, also of Many; three sisters, Lena
Townsend of Ajax, Wessie Smith of Glenmora, Dorothy Smith of
Provencal; four brothers, Emmett Manasco of Many, Reuben Manasco
of Florien, Claudie Jones of Shreveport, and Clarence Jones of
Mansfield; 18 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 4 great-great
grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
