Sanders, 62, of 362 Carrolton, Shreveport, were held Tuesday, Sept. 21, at 2 p.m., in Osborn Funeral Home Chapel in Shreveport. Dr. Scott Tatum, pastor of Broadmoor Baptist Church, officiated, and burial was in Forest Park Cemetery. Mr. Sanders died unexpectedly at 7 p.m., Saturday, in the P & S Hospital. A native of Hillsboro, Tex., he was employed in Shreveport by the Placid Oil Co., and was a member of Broadmoor Baptist Church. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Eva E. Sanders of Shreveport; two daughters, Mrs. Rupert L. Lucius Jr. of Many, and Mrs. George Casillas of San Francisco, Calif.; three sons, Don H. Sanders, and Barton R. Sanders, both of San Francisco, and William C. Sanders of Bruno, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Lois Evans, and Mrs. Faye S. Safford, both of Shreveport; and two brothers, C. P. Sanders of Austin, Tex., and William H. Sanders of Houston. Pallbearers were Rupert L. Lucius Jr., W. F. Dalton, A. F. Nickelson, Wayne Davis, Ross White, Buddy Dale, Richard Bates, and Billy Ray Jones.
