The Sabine Index - Belle Smith Small

  11 Jul 1947 - Mrs. Belle Smith Small, age 72, passed away at the
family home near Many following a short illness. Funeral rites
were conducted at First Baptist church, Many, 3:30 p.m. Sunday by
Rev. J. C. Clement, pastor. Interment was under direction
Massingill funeral home.

  Pallbearers were her nephews, Bill Bolton, George Sirmon, Bert
Smith, Roy Alford, Marshall Petty and Willie Alford.

  Mrs. Small is survived by her husband, J. J. Small, Many;
daughters, Miss Ruby Small, Mrs. Josie Small Wyatt; sons, Billie,
Clive, Grady and Morris; sisters, Mrs. Mollie Alford, Many, Mrs.
Elsie V. Bolton, St. Louis, Mo., Mrs. Josie Sirmon, Many;
brother, E. E. Smith, Many; 10 grandchildren and two
great-grandchildren.
