Mrs. Mertie Snell

  Mrs. Mertie Jane Snell, 68, of Hornbeck, died Monday, Feb. 3, in
a Many hospital, after a long illness.

  Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, in the Hornbeck
Bible Baptist Church, with Ernest Lord officiating. Burial was in
the Mitchell Cemetery.

  Survivors include two sons, Jack Binum, and Donald Snell, both
of Hornbeck; one stepson, Evan Snell of Hornbeck; one
stepdaughter of Port Arthur, Tex.; four brothers, Mack Lofton,
and Neal Lofton, both of Florien, Jessie Lofton of Hornbeck, and
Lonnie Lofton of Many; and five grandchildren.
