Hoyt B. Small

  Hoyt B. Small, 62, of Many, died Monday, June 27, at 2:15 a.m.,
after an extended illness.

  He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Ruth Small of Many; two sons,
Carvil Hoyt Small, Lafitte, and Rodney Clark Small of Crown
Point; three brothers, Andrew, and A. C. Small, both of Many, and
Mack Small of Oakdale; six sisters, Mrs. Edna McCollister, Mrs.
Winnie Mae Maxey, Mrs. Corine Holcomb, Mrs. Lona McCollister,
Mrs. Lucy Wright, Many, and Mrs. Ferbita Triggs of Los Angeles,
Calif.; and three grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 28, at 2 p.m., in the
Mt. Olive Baptist Church, with the Rev. C. E. Bell, Rev. Travis
McCullough, and the Rev. O. B. Roark officiating. Interment was
in the Mt. Olive Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows
Funeral Home.

  Pallbearers were Charlie Maxey, Mike Small, Tom Holcomb, Tyrice
Maxey, Larry Small, and Joe Holcomb.
