The Sabine Index - J. Marshall Small

  18 Jun 1943 - Last rites for J. Marshall Small, age 52 years,
were held at 3:30 last Friday at the Calvary Baptist church. Rev.
J. D. Scott and Rev. O. L. Bolton officiated. Interment was in
Jerusalem cemetery, Dennis-Green funeral home in charge.

  Active pallbearers were: G. L. White, Bob Vaughn, Rev.
Nichols, Herbert Laidlow, Elden Dees and Paul Robinson.

  Surviving are wife, Mrs. Ocie Watt Small, and three
daughters, Mrs. Azalee Gallion, Leesville, Geraldine and Brenda
Joyce, Many; one grandson, Charles Wayne Gallion; four brothers,
T. C. Small of Many, C. B. Small and Eli Small of Port Arthur,
Texas and Perry Small of Florien; three sisters, Mrs. Floyd
McGarrahan, Mrs. Pauline Snell and Mrs. Albert Landlum, all of
Many.
