All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Johnny Perry "Smokey" Simon (Photo) Mr. Johnny Perry Simon, son of Mr. and Mrs. Cut Simon of Pleasant Hill, died on Tuesday, November 11, at Highland Hospital in Shreveport, Louisiana, following a brief illness. "Smokey" was born and raised in Pleasant Hill, and had resided there most of his life. For four years, he was a devoted school bus driver for Pleasant Hill High School. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Nancy Marie Simon; one son, Dexter Simon; two daughters, LaTania, and Amy Simon, all of Pleasant Hill; his parents; one brother, Limon Simon of Monroe; one sister, Mary Simon of Shreveport; and a host of relatives and friends.
