Funeral services were held at the St. Joseph Catholic Church of Zwolle, Sept. 1, with the Very Rev. Msgr. Robert C. Friend officiating. Interment was in the St. Joseph Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many. Rosary was said Thursday night at the Warren Meadows Chapel. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Blanche Simon of Detroit; three sons, Carlyle Simon of Monterey, Calif., Tim Simon of Detroit, and Paul Simon of Denver, Colorado; his mother, Mrs. Nina Hagen of Cleveland, Tex.; four brothers, Russell Simon of Cleveland, Jessie Simon, and Clark Simon, both of Detroit, and Charlie Simon of Pasadena, Tex.; two sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Young of Pasadena, and Mrs. Mary Stuckey of Cleveland; and 13 grandchildren. Pallbearers were Cecil Martinez, Frankie Martinez, Murry Sepulvado, Martin Sepulvado, Steve Ebarb, and Bob Rivers.
