Hoyt Monroe Simmons

  Hoyt Monroe Simmons, 51, of Many, died on Friday, Oct. 18, at 4
p.m.

  Simmons is survived by his father, Mason Simmons; a son, Hoyt
Simmons Jr., Fisher; two daughters, Cathy Simmons, Alexandria,
and Mary Simmons, fisher; one brother, Grady Simmons, Many; and
three sisters, Mrs. Ahalean Dison, Summerfield, Mrs. Evelyn Cobb,
Mansfield, and Mrs. Shirley Martin, Houma.

  Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., in Sunday, Oct. 20, at the
Trinity Baptist Church, with the Rev. H. H. Tibbits, and the Rev.
Glen Lanier officiating. Burial was in the Oxley Cemetery, under
the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
