The Sabine Index - Mrs. M. B. Simmons

  4 Feb 1944 - Mrs. M. B. Simmons, 66, wife of M. B. Simmons,
prominent Many business man, died at the family residence Sunday
following an illness of several years.

  Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the First
Baptist church with the Rev. C. W. Williams and the Rev. J. D.
Scott officiating. Burial was in the Many cemetery under the
direction of Dennis-Green funeral home.

  Mrs .Simmons is survived by her husband; two brothers, B. V.
Harvey, Edna, Texas, W. M. Harvey, Many; three sisters, Mrs.
Ouida Carter, Beaumont, Texas, Mrs. W. T. Carson, Shreveport, and
Miss Bicie Harvey, Many.

  Pallbearers were the Rev. Henry Nichols, the Rev. Herbert
Laidlow, T. M. Phillips, C. L. Massingill, W. H. Gandy and Mack
Abington.
