The Sabine Index - Green Thomas Simmons

  4 Mar 1955 - Last rites for Green Thomas Simmons, age 78, who
died at Bastrop, Feb. 24, were conducted at 11 a.m. Feb. 26, at
the Kisatchie Baptist Church, with Rev. Monroe Roberts
officiating. Interment was under the direction of Warren Funeral
Home.

  Survivors: Sons, Oscar Simmons, A. V. Simmons of Japan;
daughters, Mrs. Lavelle Byles of Bastrop, Mrs. Boyce Byrd of
Memphis, Tenn., Mrs. Wyman Whittington of Magnolia, Ark.;
brothers, W. D. Simmons of Campti, Mason Simmons, John Simmons,
both of Fort Jesup; sisters, Mrs. Bessie Sparks, Miss Lizzie
Simmons and Mrs. Ounie Simmons, all of Fort Jesup; 15
grandchildren.
