Simmons Services were conducted at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home, for William G. Simmons, 73, of Keithville, Tuesday, October 28, at 2 p.m. Officiating was Doctor Floyd Davis of Caddo Heights Baptist Church. Interment was at Centuries Memorial Park. Mr. Simmons entered into rest, Sunday, October 26, 1986, at Schumpert Medical Center, after a brief illness. He was a native of DeRidder, and had been a resident of Keithville, for the past six years. He served as principal of Converse High School, and a past supervisor of schools in Sabine Parish. He was a member of Graywood Baptist Church, and Sam Todd Masonic Lodge No. 182. Mr. Simmons was a veteran of World War II. He is survived by his wife, Drucie Simmons; two sons, William Simmons of Keithville, and Kenneth Simmons of Many; one sister, Amy Simmons of DeRidder; and six grandchildren. Pallbearers were William B. Simmons, Bradley Simmons, Kenneth Simmons, Todd Simmons, Keith Simmons, and Leroy Simmons.
