Myrtis Eloise Reece Simmons

  Myrtis Eloise Reece Simmons, 88, of Many, died Thursday, Jan. 3,
2002, at Sabine Medical Center.

  Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Jan. 5, at Trinity
Baptist Church, with interment following at Ft. Jesup Cemetery.
The Rev. Truman Leach, and the Rev. H. H. Tibbits officiated.

  Survivors include her husband, Grady Elmer Simmons of Many; two
daughters, Eloise Palmer, and Yvonne Miller, both of Many; one
sister, Lena Allbritton of Robeline; eight grandchildren; 16
great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and a host of
nieces, nephews, and friends.
