Collis Simmons

  Collis Simmons, 58, of Natchitoches, died Sunday, Oct. 23, in
Sulphur.

  Funeral services were held in Shady Grove Methodist Church,
Monday, Oct. 24, with the Rev. M. C. Green officiating. Burial
was in the Shady Grove Cemetery, under the direction of Warren
Meadows Funeral Home of Many.

  Survivors include four brothers, Hardy Simmons of Vidor, Texas,
Henry Simmons of Natchitoches, Leon Simmons of Fisher, and Archie
Simmons of Sulphur; one sister, Mrs. Sylvia Westfall of Florien;
and a host of nieces and nephews.

  Pallbearers were Doc Simmons, Bobby Joe B?, Leon Simmons Jr.,
Hubert Simmons, Gerald Jackson, and A. J. Simmons.
