James W. Simmons

  James Walter Simmons, 62, of Florien, died Oct. 21, in Florien.
Funeral services were conducted Oct. 24, at the Redlands Baptist
Church, with the Rev. Richard H. Harry officiating. Burial was in
the Yellow Pine Subdivision Cemetery, under the direction of
Winnfield Colored Funeral Home.

  Survivors include three sisters and one brother, Mrs. Faustina
Richards, Miss Tisha Burr, Miss Mary Burr, and C. L. Burham;
seven nieces; and six nephews; and a host of other relatives and
friends.
