Semons Funeral services were held July 2, in Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home, for Edward L. Semons, 40, retired oil field worker of Maxie Community. Mr. Semons passed away at 8:30 a.m., Sunday, July 1, 1962, at his home. Burial was in Maxie Cemetery. Mr. Semons was a World War II veteran. Surviving are his wife, Estelle Semons; two sons, William, and Jimmy, both of Maxie; four daughters, Mrs. Larry Morgan of Groves, Texas, Thelma, Carol, and Nancy, all of Maxie; three brothers, W. C. of Leesville, La., Calvin of Hornbeck, La., Eugene of Houston, Texas.
