Mrs. Nell Skinner

  Mrs. Nell Skinner, 62, died Wednesday, Sept. 15, after a short
illness.

  Funeral services were held at 4 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 16, in the
Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, with the Rev. J. C. Edwards, and the
Rev. Billy White officiating. Burial was in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery,
under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Survivors include her husband, Roy Skinner of Florien; one son,
Billy Ray of Florien; two daughters, Mrs. Jo Ann Wright of Many, and
Mrs. Ethel Austin of Sulpher; Two brothers, Calvin Thaxton of
Florien, and Harvey Thaxton of Baytown; one sister, Mrs. Lula Ellzey
of Florien; and 10 grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were Ance Ellzey, Jerry Arthur, Evor Thaxton, A. J.
Dupree, Louis Skinner, DeWayne Weldon, Bailey Thaxton, and B. D.
Robinson.
