The Sabine Index - Mrs. Clara Skinner

  5 Feb 1976 - Mrs. Clara Skinner, 83 of Many, died in Many on
Monday, Feb. 2 at 1:33 p.m. following an extended illness.

  She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Devera Alford and Mrs.
Devada Alford, both of Many; a brother, George Addison of
Florien; a sister, Mrs. J. Ludd Leach of Shreveport; four
grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

  Funeral services were held at the Alford Heights Baptist
Church on Tuesday, Feb. 3 at 3:00 p.m. The Rev. Brent Fleming and
the Rev. Earl Marr officiated.

  Burial was in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery under the direction
of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
