Carl Skinner

  Carl Skinner, 64, of Belmont, died Sunday, Jan. 9, at 10 a.m.,
after a short illness.

  Funeral services were held Tuesday, Jan. 11, at 10 a.m., in the
Union Baptist Church of Belmont, with the Rev. Guy Burr, and the
Rev. J. P. King officiating. Interment was in the Belmont
Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Surviving relatives are his wife, Mrs. Velma Skinner of Belmont;
two sons, Donald Skinner of Belmont, and Dale Skinner of
DeRidder; one daughter, Mrs. Edgar Stephens of Belmont; one
brother, Albert Skinner of Magnolia, Ark.; five sisters, Mrs.
Lela Wright, Belmont, Mrs. Carrie Phillips, Lake Charles, Mrs.
Bess Powell, Florien, Mrs. Dell Brooks, Chalmette, and Mrs. Nell
Theriot of Lake Charles; and six grandchildren.
