Martha Belle Skinner

  Funeral services for Martha Belle Skinner of Belmont, were held
at Union Baptist Church on Friday, July 2, at 10 a.m., with Rev.
Johnny Garrett, and Rev. Guy Burr officiating. Interment was in
the Belmont Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows
Funeral Home.

  Mrs. Skinner died Wednesday, June 30, at 8:10 a.m., at Heritage
Manor Nursing Home, following an extended illness. She was 100.

  She is survived by a daughter, Oletha S. Jones of Port Arthur,
Tx.; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Martha Skinner of Belmont; nine
grandchildren, Frank Skinner, Louis Wayne Skinner, Bobbie S.
Marshall, Louise Weaver, Gerald Jones, Thomas O. Strebeck, Hazel
Strebeck, Ann Nichols, and E. J. Cobb, and a host of nieces and
nephews.
